Letting Your Voices Be "HERD"

The West Virginia School Counselor Association is delighted to announce our Annual Conference "Letting Your Voices Be "HERD"" which will take place on Friday, October 11, 2019 on the campus of Marshall University in Huntington, WV.

We are delighted to have past ASCA Board of Director and current President of the Maine School Counseling Association Bonnie Robbins, and her principal Shawn Vincent, to deliver an interactive keynote on their utilization of Restorative Practices in her current school.   

The West Virginia School Counselor Association (WVSCA) expands the image and influence of professional school counselors through advocacy, leadership, collaboration and systemic change at the state level. WVSCA empowers professional school counselors with the knowledge, skills, linkages, and resources to promote student success in the school, the home, the community, and the world. In addition to other goals, WVSCA provides timely, relevant information exists that supports professional school counselors and student advocacy.
